Moka Terms of Use
1. The service
Moka helps you organise your dog's life: profile, vaccines, triage, plans, training, expenses, community and alerts. It provides general guidance. It does not replace a vet and does not diagnose, prescribe or dose medication. In an emergency, see a vet immediately.
2. Moka Plus subscription
Moka Plus is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly; prices are shown in your local currency in the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase and renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Manage or cancel in Settings › your name › Subscriptions.
Safety features (profile, vaccine card, triage, “Can they eat it?”, nearby clinics, lost-pet poster and 1 dog) are always free.
3. Community and alerts
By posting you accept the community rules: be respectful; no offensive, dangerous or unauthorised commercial content and no medical advice. Posts may be hidden automatically after reports and removed by moderation. You can block users. Lost-pet alerts must be genuine and end after 7 days or when you mark “Found”.
4. Content and AI
Health content comes from reviewed texts. AI answers are general behavior suggestions and may be wrong; use common sense.
5. Partners
Rescues, services, shops and dog-friendly places appear in the app after approval and are always labelled as partners. Each partner is responsible for the information it publishes, the products and services it offers, prices and customer service. Moka does not process payments or take part in adoptions, purchases or bookings: everything is arranged directly between you and the partner. Partners that break these rules or receive complaints may be paused or removed. Partners never appear on health screens.
6. Advertising and affiliate links
Sponsored content and affiliate links are always identified with a label (Sponsored, Partner shop or Community partner) and explained in "Why am I seeing this?". When you buy through a Partner shop link, Moka may receive a commission, at no extra cost to you.
Moka sells nothing directly. You buy from the partner, who is solely responsible for the product or service, price, delivery, returns and refunds and customer service, including under the Australian Consumer Law and Brazil's Consumer Defence Code.
We don't accept advertising for medicines, sedatives, prescription calming products, dewormers, veterinary flea and tick products or supplements. Partners may not make health claims or direct advertising at children, and follow the AANA Code of Ethics in spirit. Advertising never appears on health screens, on the lost-pet poster or on the Apple Wallet pass. Details are in the advertising and partner policy.
7. Liability
Moka is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law and Brazil's Consumer Defence Code), we are not responsible for decisions made without a veterinary assessment.
